There are two wildfires currently burning off of Aylesford Road in the community of Lake Paul that firefighters are aware of.
Both fires are close to one another and are believed to be a result of some lightning that took place on Tuesday afternoon.
Aylesford Fire Chief, Shawn Carey confirmed that DNRR fire crews along with volunteer fire departments will be returning in the morning to continue suppression efforts.
The fires are in very remote locations making it hard to access and are being classified as not contained, Chief Carey stated.
Carey also confirmed that there are no immediate homes or cottages in danger at this time.
