More precise measure for Lake George Wildfire

⚠️ The Lake George wildfire is still out of control and now estimated at 150 hectares after more precise measurements. 

There have been no reports of damage to structures. Nova Scotia Department of Emergency Management is working on structure protection with local fire departments. 

Firefighters are shuttling water to supply dump tanks for sprinklers set up for protection. Local fire also soaking down vegetation in the active fire zone. 

No further evacuations likely, although area residents should be prepared.

Onsite are 23 DNR and 20 local firefighters, 4 NWT and 2 Quebec planes, 1 DNR and 2 contracted helicopters, and 6 pieces of heavy equipment building fire breaks. 

Aircraft made numerous water drops on site today and fire breaks were made. All crews expected to return tomorrow
