Waterville Firefighters responded to the scene of an aprox 100×100 wooded area on fire in Woodville.
Crews worked quickly to knock down hot spots and get lines around the fire before a helicopter had arrived to assist. It was released back to Lake George shortly after arriving.
Mutual aid from New Minas & Berwick with tankers to the scene.
DNR also responded.
