From the KCFFA:
Last night the Kings County Firefighters Association held its semi-annual open meeting. As part of the event, the association presented plaques to recognize active firefighters in Kings County who have achieved 50 years of service or more.

The night also included an informative presentation from the NS Department of Emergency Management covering this summer’s unprecedented wildfire season in Nova Scotia.

The evening was capped off with a meal and refreshments provided by the social committee from the Waterville and District Volunteer Fire Department who hosted the event.
Congratulations to all those members who have achieved such an amazing milestone of service and dedication to protecting our communities!
