Rarely do I manage to get photos of a Cardinal but today this one really wanted its picture taken outside of my work in Kentville.

The month of May has always been a really difficult time for my family and the presence of a Cardinal has always held a special meaning.
They say the vibrant red Cardinal is an uplifting, happy sign that those we have lost will live forever, so long as we keep their memory alive in our hearts.
