Earlier today, I delievered letters to the Municipality of The County of Kings, Town of Wolfville, Town of Kentville & Town of Berwick in regard to my ongoing civic address initiative.
There is either a lack of civic signs or lack of education in having them properly displayed across Kings County and beyond.
All letters were followed up with emails for our local council for each jurisdiction.
While everyone doesn’t have Facebook, getting the word out there on the proper education in displaying and purchasing signs is crucial for public safety.
The municipality and towns have bylaws set in place for civic signs, which could result in fines. The bylaws are listed on their websites and available to the public.
If my efforts can help spread the word and additional people display their signs, I feel like I’ve done my part.
