There have been several break and enters, including thefts from commercial properties in and around Waterville and Cambridge over the last week.
Many businesses have suffered property damages including thefts of equipment and other property.
It’s unknown at this time if these incidents are related or connected but the significant spike is concerning. It’s important for community members to be aware and to keep an extra eye on their properties and belongings.
While many crimes are preventable and considered crimes of opportunity, most of these in our area appear to be a result of forcible entry, where someone has gone the extra mile to damage property and steal items.
If anyone has any information in regard to these incidents, video footage or information, you are encouraged to contact the Kings District RCMP.
Neighbourhood Watch starts with our communities, watching out for one another, and reporting suspicious activity.
These particular photos were obtained from a break and enter in Waterville last week during the overnight hours between 2 and 3 AM.
This particular business suffered a theft of a cash register along with property damage as a result of the break and enter.

Since this break and enter, five other businesses have fallen victim to theft and damages in under a week in this specific area.
