Emergency services across the Annapolis Valley were kept on their toes with dozens of motor vehicle collisions and traffic disruptions being reported since rush hour yesterday afternoon.
Thankfully, weather and road conditions have improved.
No significant injuries were reported as a result of a number of accidents over the last 24 hours.
We are thankful for all our first responders, tow truck drivers and plow operators who have been working around the clock!
This photo was taken late this morning of a jack-knifed tractor trailer on the Avonport Mountain along Highway 101.
