“Quick action from the air and on the ground has helped bring a wildfire near Big Molly Upsim Lake in Annapolis County under control.
After fixed-wing air drops yesterday, DNR firefighters were flown into the remote area by helicopter this morning.
Continued suppression efforts with water pumps and helicopter bucket drops. The fire is currently being held at about 0.7 hectares.
Thanks to our crews and aviation team for another strong response.”
