T&C Agriculture in Clarence

Farmers across the valley were hit hard last summer by the extreme drought conditions in our region, impacting many crops and their yields.

With a little rain and some nice weather, crops, most particularly for hay, are growing back strong. Many fields are producing so much grass when they’re being cut, machinery is having a hard time keeping up!

T&C Agriculture in Clarence were busy mowing grass for their first cut this season.

Last summer we visited their farm where drought conditions didn’t allow them to complete their much needed second cut to supply farmers and livestock.

Preparations to bale hay are well underway this week and good weather is in the forecast to help push this process along.

Despite a tough season last year, it’s nice to see things getting back to some normalcy for the time being.

Attached are some photos in Clarence earlier this week in one of their plentiful fields.
