It’s not very often you can get John to crack a smile for a photo but I did tonight.
John Foote, with the Waterville & District Volunteer Fire Department, has climbed the ranks over the last 41 years, serving as Firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain and Deputy Chief.
He continues to serve, playing a key role as an operator and mentor for many who cross his path.
I had the pleasure of delivering this framed and printed photo that I captured a few months back on a woods fire this evening.
