West Stoney Lake wildfire now classified as under control by DNR.
At 6PM, DNR is reporting the West Stoney Lake wildfire in Graywood, Annapolis County is now under control.
DNR ground crews, volunteer firefighters and a helicopter worked the fire all day today and the chopper has since been released.
Four fixed-wing water bombers dropped on the fire before noon today.
The fire was estimated to be 5 hectares in size and approximately 4 separate fires. This will be the final update on this fire in Annapolis County.
