Department of Natural Resources along with volunteer fire departments are actively working the wildfire in Graywood near West Stoney Lake in Annapolis County.
DNR is currently estimating the fire to be 4 hectares and is out of control.
A DNR helicopter is on site and fixed-wing water bombers are on route.
Annapolis Royal Firefighters, Bear River and Bridgetown are actively assisting.
Volunteer firefighters are shuttling tankers along Highway 8 in Graywood into the fire, motorists should use caution if they are traveling in the area.
