RCMP officers are in the 1100 block of Cleveland Road between Windermere Road and Lawrence Road in Windermere, to arrest a man wanted on a warrant.
Kings District RCMP and The Nova Scotia Emergency Response team are in the area actively working.
Residents can expect a larger police presence in the area and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
