Kings District RCMP investigating fatal collision in Morristown.
On July 6, at approximately 9 p.m., Kings District RCMP, fire services, and EHS responded to a report of a collision in the 500 block of Prospect Rd. Officers learned that a dirt bike and a dump truck had collided.
The driver and sole occupant of the dirt bike, a 30-year-old man from Aylesford, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a 29-year-old man from Morristown, and a passenger did not report any physical injuries.
Prospect Rd. was closed for several hours while an RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
