I captured a mother fox nursing her litter of 5 the other evening.
This den was located in what I consider a high risk area for the safety of the kits, but mom was doing a good job at keeping them close together and under control, to a degree.
For the safety of the family – these photos were taken in a disclosed location in Kings County.
