Many residents flocked to the Boates Family Farm in Woodville to pick up their chicken dinner in support of the Woodville Community Centre today!
Over 200 volunteers helped with the major fundraiser, dishing and cooking a total of 2,500 dinners for the community!
For the past 51 years, the community centre has been holding their annual barbecue to help with expenses.
Like most community centres, they rely heavily on fundraisers and events to keep up on costs.
Every year, the BBQ brings in people from across the Annapolis valley to enjoy a delicious meal in the orchards, reconnecting with members of our communities and sharing local.
Big thank you to all the volunteers and organizers of this delicious meal. It was fantastic!
