Earlier this afternoon, Greenwich Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a combine on fire in Greenwich.
On arrival, it was determined that a forage harvester was fully involved well off the road in a field.
Additional tankers, brush truck and manpower were requested bringing in assistance from Port Williams, Wolfville & Kentville fire departments.
Firefighters quickly got the fire under control and minimized any further extension into the field.
The harvester is considered to be a total loss.
