Over the past hour fire conditions have increased at the fire in Lake George.
Heavy smoke can be seen from various areas across the Annapolis Valley and smoke is drifting into areas heading towards Kentville.
The Northwest Territories 802 water bombers are back on site as heavy winds continue this afternoon.
